Resumption of work on Mercier Bridge electrical control building

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke has been informed by the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated that excavation and concrete work for the electrical control building will resume on Wednesday, April 27, in the approved location under the Mercier Bridge. This phase of the work is expected to take approximately seven days to complete.

Construction/installation of the building will be done by the Mohawk Bridge Consortium and its subcontractors.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
