Fire Ban Lifted

The current fire conditions in Kahnaw�:ke and Tiower�:ton have been downgraded to LOW.

As a result, the Kahnawake Fire Brigade has lifted the total fire ban for both Kahnaw�:ke and Tiower�:ton.

Please keep in mind that although we are in a state of Normalcy, COVID-19 still poses a risk to the health and safety of the First Responders who are forced to gather in order to combat grass fires and other incidents.

Additionally, if you see any suspicious activity or see a grass fire, please contact the Peacekeepers at (450) 632-6505. Starting a grass fire is a crime.
