By-Election dates announced

The Office of the Electoral Officer is pleased to announce several important dates for the 2022 Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke By-Election.

• Nomination Day - Saturday October 22, 10am to 12 noon at the Kahnaw�:ke Services Complex
• Meet the Candidates Night - Thursday October 27, 6pm to 11pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall
• Special Advanced Poll - Wednesday November 2, 5pm to 7pm at the Golden Age Club (submit letters of intent by noon on Monday, October 31)
• By-Election - Saturday November 5, Polls open 9am to 4pm at Karonhian�nhnha Tsi Ionterihwaienst�hkhwa School

The Electoral Officer would also like to remind the community of the importance of having the required documents and signers for the nomination process ready on Nomination Day.
