By-Election dates announced to fill the seat vacated by Barton Goodleaf

The Office of the Electoral Officer is pleased to announce several important dates for the 2022 Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke By-Election to fill the seat vacated by Barton Goodleaf.

• Nomination Day � Saturday, November 19, 10am to 12 noon at the Kahnaw�:ke Services Complex
• Meet the Candidates Night � Wednesday, November 23, 6pm at the Golden Age Club
• Special Advanced Poll - Wednesday, November 30, 5pm to 7pm at the Golden Age Club (submit letters of intent by noon on Monday, November 28)
• By-Election - Saturday, December 3, Polls open from 9am to 4pm at the Golden Age Club

The Electoral Officer would also like to remind the community of the importance of having the required documents and signers for the nomination process ready on Nomination Day.
