Production company to film local Emergency Services

The Lands Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) would like to advise the community that a permit has been granted to Memory Tree Productions valid from today, Friday, January 27 to Sunday, January 29, 2023.

The educational production deals with a person suffering from Dementia and will include participation of the Kahnaw�:ke Peacekeepers, and Kahnawake Search & Rescue.

The filming locations include:

• The Kahnaw�:ke Peacekeeper Station
• The Kahnaw�:ke Sports Complex
• The old KSS Campus
• A private residence near the Kahnaw�:ke Sports Complex

This production will not require any road closures or disruptions to traffic. However, please be advised that due to the nature of the production, there will be several emergency vehicles in the area of the filming locations.
