Iroquois Caucus meetings taking place in Six Nations

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to inform the community that Oh�n:ton �:iente ne Ratits�nhaienhs Kahsennenhawe Sky-Deer (attending today�s session only due to other commitments), Kenits�nhaienhs Tonya Perron and Jessica Lazare will be attending this week�s Iroquois Caucus meetings being held in Six Nations today (Tuesday) and Wednesday.

Agenda items include updates on the Jay Treaty Border Alliance; Harvest Working Group updates; Ontario Wetland Evaluation System, and a Six Nations Health Presentation on Food Sovereignty.

The Iroquois Caucus was created in 2007 and consists of elected Councils from Kahnaw�:ke, Akwesasne, Kanehsat�:ke, Tyendinaga, Wahta, Six Nations, and the Oneida of the Thames.
