Dawn Marquis Deere selected as new EAO

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) would like to inform the community that Dawn Marquis Deere has been selected as the successful candidate for the position of Executive Administrative Officer.

�Dawn�s experience in her previous positions at the MCK will allow for a smooth transition into her new role, which will focus on high-level strategic planning and guidance of multiple MCK units. We are proud to have her as part of our Executive Team,� said Oneraht�kha Marquis, Executive Director of the MCK.

Dawn Marquis Deere was hired as Director of Strategic Planning & Organizational Change Management in July of 2022 and seconded as the Interim Director of Human Resources in May of 2023.

The Executive Administrative Officer manages several MCK units, including Human Resources, Public Relations, Information Management, and Administration.

Dawn�s first day in her new position will be Wednesday, June 28, 2023.
