Mercier Bridge Overnight ramp closure and mobile works

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) has been informed by the Jacques Cartier & Champlain Bridges, Inc. that maintenance and repair work will require the closure of the R-132 west up-ramp (from La Prairie/A-30) towards Montreal, tonight (Friday, September 15, 2023), from 8pm until 5am Saturday.

A detour via R-138 will be in place. See the map below.

Additionally, on Saturday, September 16, from 10pm until 4am, mobile repair work will take place on the Montreal-bound Mercier Bridge between the top of the ramps and the first superstructure. Expect temporary, and alternating lane closures.

Please drive with caution and slow down when entering the mobile work zones, and respect the Move-Over Law when you see flashing lights.
 
The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
