The Office of the Council of Chiefs would like to inform the community of various upcoming meetings and events being held outside of the Territory of Kahnaw�:ke that will require the attendance of the following Ratits�nhaienhs:

1. Kahsennenhawe Sky-Deer: Opening ceremony for the construction of Champlain Hudson Power Express. Sky-Deer will participate as a VIP speaker � Astoria, Queens, NY (September 19, 2023)
2. Jessica Lazare: Forum on First Nations Language Rights in Quebec � Regional Committee on First Nations Languages. Lazare will also be speaking on the Right to Self-Determination and Language Rights panel � Quebec City (September 19 -20, 2023)
3. Ross Montour:  � Chiefs of Ontario, First Nations Leadership Council discussion on Bill C-53 - Ottawa (September 19, 2023)
4. Kahsennenhawe Sky-Deer and Ross Montour: Ottawa Rally, First Nations� Opposition to the Passing of Bill C-53 � Ottawa (September 20, 2023)
