MCK meets with Magic Palace

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community, that the Ratits�nhaienhs met today with representatives of Magic Palace, to discuss issues surrounding recent media reports and allegations of a key person previously licensed under Magic Palace.

At the meeting, the Ratits�nhaienhs were informed that effective immediately, Magic Palace and Mirela�s restaurant are cutting all ties with the key person whose Key Persons License was recently revoked by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission (KGC). Further, the representatives of Magic Palace affirmed their ongoing commitment to ensuring full compliance with any further investigations on this matter, as well as maintaining full compliance with all regulations of the KGC.

The MCK is pleased that the owners of Magic Palace have taken swift actions on this concerning matter, in the interest of public safety, accountability and transparency.
