Splashpad Bathroom Facility Vandalized

The Asset Management Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawake is once again saddened to inform the community that the bathroom building at the Splashpad at Orville Standup Park has been vandalized.

The latest incident occurred on the evening of Wednesday, November 22. Asset Management maintenance staff were there to clean and effect repairs on Friday morning. See the photo of the damages below.

As a preventative for these types of incidents from reoccurring, the community is being asked to relay the importance of respect and care to those who utilize community facilities. Anyone with information on the incident is encouraged to report it to the Kahnaw�:ke Peacekeepers at 450-632-6505.
