Nitsenhaienhs attending Iroquois Caucus

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawake wishes to inform the community that Nitsenhaienhs Tonya Perron and Iohahiio Delisle will be attending the Iroquois Caucus meetings on Wednesday and Thursday, March 27 and 28 in Oneida Nation of the Thames.

The two-day meeting agenda includes:

• Bill S-268 (An Act to amend the Criminal Code and the Indian Act [reserve lottery scheme])
• Algonquins of Ontario
• Nuclear Waste
• Bill C-53 (An Act respecting the recognition of certain M�tis governments)
• Working Group Updates

Nitsenhaienhs Perron and Delisle will return to the office after the Easter Holiday break on Tuesday, April 2.
