Traffic Redirected Under Mercier

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�k:e would like to inform the community that the Mohawk Bridge Consortium is performing repair work under the Mercier Bridge today (16, Ennisk�:wa/March) and tomorrow (17, Ennisk�:wa/March) from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.

Kahnaw�:ke-bound traffic in the area before the CP Rail tunnel is being re-routed near the piers on Old Depot Road and through the tunnel. Outgoing traffic is being re-routed along the roadway parallel to the CP Rail towards Jojo�s Nursery.

The road detours are necessary for the Mohawk Bridge Consortium to install platforms and perform maintenance over the roadway.

Please use caution when driving through or around the work sites.
