Annual Audit Presented to Council

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) would like to announce that the annual audit of the MCK 2008/2009 budgeted expenses was presented to Chief and Council on Monday, June 29th at the final Council meeting of the current term.

�We are quite pleased that, despite a difficult year in budget management, we have once again met our goal of a zero balance and avoided encountering a deficit�, said Marcy Delisle, Director of Finance.

Chief and Council accepted and finalized the Audited report which was prepared by the Accounting firm of Horwath Leebosh Appel. The audited report will be released to the Community via the MCK's Annual Report by the end of the summer.
