Water Line Break on Old Malone Highway

The Public Works Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to inform the community of a major water line break on the Old Malone Highway between the former Rabaska restaurant and the east side of Ally�s Restaurant.

The Public Works Unit is currently on-site to repair the water line, which is expected take a half day. Residents in the area will not have access to water until the repairs are complete.

�We are hoping to complete the repairs quickly to ensure homes have access to water by the end of the day�, said Supervisor of Infrastructure and Operations, Peter Stacey.

A portion of the road behind Ally�s Restaurant is closed to allow for the repairs and will be re-opened upon completion of the work.
