Land Allotment Committee Seeks Two (2) Members

The Lands Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to inform the community that they are seeking two (2) Community Representatives to participate on the Land Allotment Committee.

Community members who are interested must meet the following criteria:

� Must be over the age of 18;

� Must be on the Kahnaw�:ke Kanienkeh�:ka Registry;

� Must agree to respect and not disclose the sensitive information discussed in Committee meetings. (Signing of confidentiality agreement required);

� Must be available to meet during business hours for Committee meetings.

Applicants must also be available to attend monthly meetings with the Land Allotment Committee on behalf of the Mohawks of Kahnaw�:ke.

Applicants are asked to submit a letter expressing their interest to serve as a Community Representative by 4pm Friday, September 11th. Letters must be addressed to the Land Allotment Administrator � P.O. Box 720, Kahnaw�:ke Mohawk Territory, J0L 1B0 and dropped off at the Lands Unit (located across from the Youth Center).
