Notice re: Brush Trimming Near Hydro Towers

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to inform the community that work will commence to manage vegetation (trim brush and clear overgrowth) on the right-of-way beneath the Hydro Quebec transmission towers on both Lines 1 and 2 in Kahnaw�:ke.

The areas affected are on private (Kahnaw�:ke-owned) property. For safety reasons, this type of work is performed on a regular basis.

The contract has been awarded to Twin Cutters of Kahnaw�:ke, working in partnership with Asplundt Canada.

The work is scheduled to run from 7 to 22, Tsoth�hrha/December, weather permitting.
