MCK Announces Portfolio Change

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) announced today that Chief Carl Horn has taken over the Membership Portfolio from Chief Rhonda Lynn Kirby.

Chief Kirby has relinquished these duties due to the high workload commitments from her other duties. She also sits on the Finance, Administration & Operations Committee and holds the portfolios for Tobacco, Mohawk Self-Insurance, Fair Wage Agreement, Sports & Recreation, and the KMHC Expansion Project.

Chief Horn adds to his duties on the Peacekeeper Services Board, as well as Land Management, Land Allotments, Environment, Tiowero:ton, Specific Claims and Sports & Recreation.

The change was formalized at the Council Meeting of Monday, 14 Tsoth�hrha/ December.
