Mercier Bridge lane closures today and tomorrow

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke has been informed that the Ministry of Transport of Quebec will be performing maintenance work on both Kahnaw�:ke and Montreal-bound lanes of the Mercier Bridge today (Thursday) from 9:30am to 1pm and Friday, 22 Tsothohrk�:wa / January from 10am to 11am.

Repairs to the concrete slab take place today on the entire bridge. Therefore, one lane will be closed in the area where the work will be executed. Work will first begin on the Kahnaw�:ke-bound lane and then transfer on the Montreal-bound lane. As for the work on Friday, January 22nd, please note that the Montreal-bound right lane will be closed in the area where the work will be executed.

Throughout this period, road users who regularly access the Mercier Bridge are advised to use any of the other South Shore bridges to avoid detours and traffic congestion.
