Road closures scheduled by MBC

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to inform the community of the following road closures scheduled for this week by the Mohawk Bridge Consortium (MBC).

Wednesday, March 24th: Old Malone Highway from the tunnel to the old dump area will be closed to traffic from 9am to 3pm in order for MBC to install platforms to the bridge over the roadway. Traffic will be detoured along the road by JoJo�s Nursery in the direction St. Constant and by the 132/138 service road in the direction of Ch�teauguay. Flagman and signage will be in place to direct traffic.

Wednesday, March 24th: Ch�teauguay-bound right lane on the Mercier Bridge will be closed from 6am to12pm in order for MBC to perform some works in that area. Signage will be in place to inform road users.

Thursday, March 25th: Montreal-bound right lane of ramp #2 (from Laprairie) on the Mercier Bridge will be closed from 9am to 3pm in order to paint traffic markings on the roadway.
